Use this trailhead to access a list of hikes with Kyhv Peak being one of the most notable. The new trailhead and parking area looks really good. I personally like the improvements.

At the trailhead, there are bathrooms, a play area, a bike fix-it station, a wall with information on placards, even an amphitheatre, and picnic area with BBQ! There’s lots of parking too.
Close to the trailhead are a couple of nature loops. These are very easy to navigate and for all ages! Even those with bad joints.
Taking the trail up into the canyon is beautiful. You’re surrounded by scrub oak, rock face, and beauty!
There are five bridges you can go over. I can’t remember which one starts the loop. There’s also a cave. I didn’t go all the way, but it was deep enough that you’ll need a light! Explore the wild flowers, bumble bees, and even bigger wildlife. I saw what I think was a goat!
If you start in the morning, it’s such a pleasant hike. This is an easy to moderate hike. Beware of rattle snakes!
This trailhead has many feed offs from it. Go on all trails and see the many things you can do!

This place is spectacular! It’s such a great hike, just be sure to take other people with you to make it more enjoyable. We had such a great time up in Rock Canyon, but it was really snowy and I brought tennis shoes… whoops.
We didn’t make it all the way to the peak, unfortunately, but we ended up going to the base of the peak incline point. I took some great photos here, and we almost recreated the nutty putty incident😰
This was such a good time though, definitely come here for a great hike.
