Bicentennial Park Pavilion 1 offers a designated off-leash area for dogs in the heart of Provo, Utah. Known for its large, shaded spaces provided by mature trees, the dog park is a convenient spot for pet owners looking for a place to let their dogs stretch their legs. Though the fenced dog park area does not have grass, there is a nearby grassy park for on-leash walks. The park also features a beautiful setting with a pond and is shared with amenities like a disc golf course, several picnic spots, and play areas for families, making it a favorite for dog owners and locals alike.
Visitors are advised to bring bug spray, especially during the warmer months when insects are more prevalent near the trees. While the park includes grills and covered shelters for picnics and gatherings, dog owners should note that the off-leash dog area may sometimes require extra attention to cleanliness. If you’re seeking pet-friendly trails, dog-friendly hiking, or a fun place for a dog meet-up in Provo, Bicentennial Park Pavilion 1 is a convenient and pet-friendly destination.
Nice big pavilion. There are grills and the park around is beautiful.

This dog park has absolutely NO GRASS. There is a nice grassy park next to it but on-leash only there. The fenced park is a “sick dog waiting to happen.” many people don’t pick up the poop, and there is a lot of it all over the area. I would never take my dog back there.

A nice little spot that’s a bit tucked away. Good field areas and good shade with big trees too.
