At one stage on the island the walkway goes onto wooden slats just like you’re walking across a mangrive swamp or one of those walkways in the Seychelles.

The park has nice, easy trails suitable for any runner. Can be a bit muddy at times, but nothing too bad. Boardwalk was really nice.

This is an absolutely beautiful park and escape from the city, even though you’re in the city… The memorial was actually my favorite part and I bet it’s beautiful if the water feature would have been operational… I’m not sure if it’s shut down for the season or if it is a “once was” sort of thing
