Boulder Creek Park is a spacious and well-maintained community park located at 995 Equestrian Dr, Henderson, NV 89002. Known for its long, grassy fields and versatile amenities, this dog-friendly park is a favorite for local pet owners seeking a convenient place for their dogs to exercise and socialize. The park features two dedicated, fenced dog enclosures, making it a great destination for off-leash play. Open space, pet-friendly trails, and a variety of sports courts make Boulder Creek Park stand out among Henderson dog parks.
While the grassy areas are ideal for running and play, shade is limited to the playground, so bringing your own cover and seating is advised, especially during hot Nevada days. The park also offers paved walking paths for easy laps, a large playground for kids, restrooms, and on-site parking. Though there is not a lot of shade or seating, Boulder Creek Park’s easy access and wide-open green spaces make it a top option for pet lovers and families alike.
Great park. Lots of grass.

Wasn’t what I had expected, as I hadn’t really looked at a map of it, but it’s a nice park. It’s very long and narrow, with a long, grassy area that’s just wide enough for a couple groups to play competitive sports. Opposite the grassy area, there’s a line of variously sized dog parks–although none was especially large, a basketball court, a restroom, and a small children’s playground with both a small 2-5yro playset and a 5-12yro playset, concrete picnic tables, and shading. (But don’t expect the picnic tables or playsets to be in much shade at 3pm in September). The designers really tried to pack in a little of everything to meet everyone’s basic interests/desires, and it seemed pretty new and well cared for
The play area isn’t anywhere near parking, and there’s actually only a parking lot on one side, which surprised me as I would have expected there to be two–one on each side–with how long it was. So, if you’re stopping by just cuz you heard there was or saw the sign for a park/playground and want to let the kids play on a playset for a few minutes before you continue on your errands, it’s gonna take them that few minutes just to walk to the play area, and then you’d hardly be able to see them from the parking lot once they got there. Otherwise, it’s a good park, with plenty of space for running around in the grass and playing sports.
Update: There actually is one small row of parking on the opposite side of the park that I just couldn’t tell was parking from my view from the playground. It’s still a bit of a walk from it to the playground, but it’s less of a walk than from the main parking lot!

I live near this park. Its long and spacious. Its great for running around, and has a gas station and a subway near by for a refreshments. It has everything you need from a grill, dog park, basketball courts, fields of grass, playground, and restrooms.
I kind of wished the lights stays up at night for the courts and the dog cage because I go out at night. Also a tennis court would be nice. 4/5 starts out of my preference.
