Great park in Goochland. The dog run was very muddy after the rain, but we enjoyed a walk by the James River. Had a picnic, but could have used a table.

There’s not that many fishing reviews on here so I’m going to leave mine. Went out to here for a second time. Set out 10 rigs, all for cat fish and used 2 other rigs for bass, etc. no bites. Not one.

I wish we had a park like that because it was big, clean and beautiful. There were people with there pets everywhere and everyone was so friendly.

Great little Park on the James. They have a dog park, with a fenced area for small and large dogs. Have a few walking paths and some trails. A number of picnic tables. Few port-a-potties. Today, though, was a special day. There was a bench dedication to my father-in-law Emerson “Willie” Williams, who loved this park and Goochland County. Come take a look at it. You can sit and have a wonderful view of the River and Maidens bridge. We have had a number of family get-togethers here. There is also a small playground. Parks and Rec do a great job with the upkeep of the park as well. You can also do a little fishing from the banks.
