Discover the open spaces and quiet trails of Clover Hill Park, a lesser-known gem in the Hunterdon County Park System. Located at 19 Clover Hill Rd in Flemington, NJ, this pet-friendly park offers wide, natural grass fields and scenic, abandoned paved roads—perfect for dog owners seeking dog-friendly hiking and peaceful walks. Locals appreciate the serene atmosphere and ample space for children and pets to roam.
While this park isn’t a dedicated fenced dog run, it is popular for on-leash dog walking in a natural setting. Please be aware that ticks can be present, especially along trails and paved roads. There are dirt driveways and parking lots for your convenience, and families will find open fields for activities and occasional soccer matches. Note: The park is an active shotgun hunting area from December to mid-February, so check advisories before planning your visit during this period.
Great underdeveloped park for walks, very quiet. If walking a dog watch out for ticks, park is loaded with them along the abandoned paved roads. Roads are located on the north side of the park.
