Alma Leonhardt Park in Providence, UT, offers a welcoming space for families and their four-legged friends to enjoy outdoor activities together. This well-maintained community park features a decent playground, multiple slides, swings, and a splash pad that becomes a popular spot during the summer months. With grassy areas and covered picnic pavilions, it’s a favorite for gatherings and playdates. The park is also wheelchair accessible, ensuring that everyone can join in the fun.
While Alma Leonhardt Park is not a dedicated dog park, its expansive lawns make it a dog-friendly option for neighborhood walks and playtime. Please note there isn’t a designated, fenced off-leash area for dogs, so plan to keep pets leashed while enjoying the park amenities. Accessible parking, public restrooms, and plenty of benches and picnic tables provide convenience for all visitors. The park is tucked away, making it a quieter option compared to busier parks in Cache Valley.
Nice little park. Has bathrooms and swings and several slides. The park allows kids in a wheelchair or with mobility issues to have some access to the park as well! Also some picnic table suner a pavilion as well as a splash pad that is open during the summer months. This park also has some pickleball and tennis courts. We didn’t use them but they looked nice.

Overall it’s a pretty nice park. The playground is the average playground. It has a splash pad that’s ok. Great for the summer. The bathrooms are ok. It also has a well taken care of pickle ball court. It is a solid 4 star park.

This is our go-to park to play pickleball! There are only 4 courts though so sometimes there isn’t one available. But overall great park with a playground, splash pad, and lots of grass. Also not too many mosquitoes which is nice!
This park is hidden away and I really love that. However, make sure you bring some kind of shade of your own, like an umbrella, because there is no shade near the splash pad. There is a pavilion but as someone with young kids, I like to sit closer. It is also very slick. I’ve watched lots of kids slip and smack their heads so I recommend taking some water shoes. The park is really fun though and lots of ages can plan on it!
