I visited the historic town pound next to the playground. Perhaps some parents would like to use the pound when their kids misbehave. 😉

I like this playground and the swings for both younger and older children. The only downside is the lack of shade leading to very hot playground equipment and no restrooms or portapotties.

Pleasant, fenced in, recently updated small playground. We found there to be just enough for all ages for brief morning stop– the toddler enjoyed the sand and some climbing, school aged son enjoyed the swings and climbing, while the teen took some shots at the basketball hoop. Bench seating for parents is a plus. Draw backs are that parking is parallel parking on the street and no bathroom facilities.

Affectionately known as the Purple Dino Park. Recently updated swings, play structure, and rock formation. There are several plain swings, one tandem swing, and one secure swing with straps for people who benefit from extra support.
It’s a cozy-sized, fenced in gem with a very local feel.
