An enjoyable and well maintained little park where you can read about history, see 🙈 what projects are going on, view the Exeter River and have access to downtown or the Exeter Public Library. There is an interesting monument in the center of the park. The Great Dam and Bridge are also accessible.There are a few small gardens to liven up the area.

Nice park in Exeter, created at the time of Exeter’s 350th anniversary in 1988 to commemorate its founding. The sculptor whose work is featured in the park spent time during the 1987-1988 school year working with students attending Exeter’s Lincoln Street and Main Street elementary schools. I used to overlook the Exeter dam and falls, but those have been destroyed in the name of ecology. The park is nestled in next to the Exeter Pubic Library.
