We went to hike with three little ones, aged 1, 2, and 5. They had so much fun playing in the creek! It has been very dry, so the creek was low, but a beautiful early fall day.
If you are a more serious hiker, it connects to the Rachel Carson trail.
One thing to be aware of. The “bridge” of the playground apparatus droops too much. Every child and adult in our party slipped and fell crossing it because it was too slippery and steep.
Another thing of note: the ice cream stand near the park is great!!

It’s a lovely walk thru wildflowers and the creek under a canopy of trees. Great place to bring families, pets, fishermen and off road enthusiasts.
