Lexington Memorial Park is a well-loved community hub located in Lexington, Texas, offering a clean and welcoming environment for families, pet owners, and outdoor enthusiasts. This dog-friendly park features pet-friendly walking trails, making it a fantastic spot for dog owners seeking space to exercise their pets. Shaded by many large trees and surrounded by green, mowed lawns, visitors can bring their dogs for a stroll or join their children at the playful playground and swingset areas.
The park includes covered pavilions and picnic tables, ideal for gatherings and relaxation amid Texas sunshine or even rainy days. Notably, Lexington Memorial Park is kept tidy and inviting, with regular maintenance, accessible restrooms, and ample seating options. While the park doesn’t appear to have a dedicated off-leash or fenced dog area, it stands out in Lexington as an accessible, dog-friendly location that brings together community amenities and pet-friendly trails.
Cute little park right next to the rodeo. Decent bathrooms, but half of the. We’re locked after dark.

My kiddos love this park. The dogs can walk the trail. Very clean, everyone keeps using their clean up bags so it stays nice. And the park playground and tables are clean and lots to do for kids.

This park has something for Everyone, Playscape, (complete with teeter totter & monkey bars), Walking/running path surrounding park, Covered picnic tables with BBQ pits, large, Covered pavilion with benches, Basketball court, Gazebo, & my personal favorite for summer, plenty of Trees for shade. Also love that the park planners made use of every square foot of this park. Great place for the kids to ride their scooters, & for the adults to exercise, or just relax in the shade. 👍

This park is always clean and the lawn is managed so that it is a great place to sit and or take your children to play on the swings or the jungle gym. There are many great tables to use and has a walking path to burn some calories on! The restrooms were clean and they have a large covered area for those days you want to get out in rainy weather.
I also want to thank the park management for allowing the Texas Food Bank to use the park to make donations to those in need during this time of national crisis.
