A fantastic place to visit. A nice place e to fish go on a hike. I hiked around the lake and came upon a trail that had Halloween decorations put up for kids and felt like one myself. I also hiked the Marble Mine trail. Great experience for the whole family.

Nice little state park in northwest Georgia. Can’t beat the 5 dollar fee to get in. Great hiking trails and a neat spot to explore is the marble cave.

Fun hike, a little on the moderate side for beginners since there was a few inclines. But very nice under the shade. Really enjoyed the hike. Pretty spots to take pics. Was hoping for more views at the top but didnt get to see much. Is peaceful and lots of mushrooms 🍄 on the path. Was fun to take pics of the different ones on the trail.

The only downfall was the staff at the visitors center was not nice at all, clean facilities, and plenty of spots for picnics make this park a must-visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to reconnect with nature!
