Whether it’s summer or winter, we enjoy this park. Swimming, fishing, floating around, or stopping for a moment of peace, I’m grateful to give close by. The new picnic tables are great and the parking area usually has plenty of room even during the dog days of summer.

Park and recreation needs to do a better job taking care of the beach. I have called Park and recreation many times with no results. Honestly I just think they are lazy. They took out the grills. Plenty of parking and also have a bathroom the changing house is gone but overall was my favorite place to bring my kids.
