Discover one of Temecula’s most spacious and welcoming dog parks at Margarita Dog Park, located just behind Margarita Community Park. This dog-friendly park features large grassy areas shaded by big trees, making it a perfect spot for dogs to run, play, and train for agility. The park provides separate areas for large and small breeds, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all pups.
Visitors appreciate the park’s water fountains for both dogs and humans, as well as the availability of poop bags (though bringing your own is recommended). While seating is limited, the ample open space and vibrant local community atmosphere make it a pet owner’s favorite destination for off-leash fun in Temecula, CA. Parking is available nearby via the UFC Fit lot, with a convenient pathway leading directly to the park entrance.
A little walk from the parking lot (a bit further for the small dog side), no benches, only one (1) poop bag dispenser (luckily we bring our own) which explains why there is quite a bit of poop through-out the dog park.
Won’t be bringing our fur babies back here.

I really liked the park itself, it’s big and has a lot of big trees, nice green grass. There’s a water bowl for dogs and bags for poop. But with all that, people don’t clean up after their dogs. And that’s one big minus of this park.

Well kept huge area for dogs to run play and catch balls. There are always other dogs to play with and the larger dogs are separated from the smaller dogs. It’s the best park I’ve been to. They have benches and water fountains for the dogs and their humans.

we’ve been to this dog park a few times and it’s always clean and very spacious. there is no where to sit which is unfortunate . my dogs always have a blast here . unfortunately there are not a lot of other dogs that go here but we have 4 dogs so it’s fine ! this is also a great spot to train for agility since there is so much space. we will be coming back but i understand why other people aren’t very fond of this place. it’s also very hard to find if you have never been here . for parking i recommend going to the UFC Fit parking lot area and there is a little path by that parking lot that leads you directly to the park !
