Very solid campground. About a 10 minute drive to gas stations/restaurants, so this is an ideal spot if you want an easy nature getaway while still being close to civilization. The sites were all pretty different, I would definitely choose one deeper into the campground. We stayed at site #20 and it was especially nice because we had our own oak tree, however the ground was a bit uneven. They all include a picnic bench, pit fires and a charcoal grill. The bathrooms were as clean as I’ve seen for pit toilets, and there was plenty of toilet paper. The hiking trail behind the campground is also quite nice, very well maintained and offers California landscape views of rolling hills, a lake and a vineyard.

My wife and I love this place. Not fancy but quiet and peaceful. Sites are far apart enough for nice personal space. No hook ups but we are fully self contained.
Nice hiking. Nice views.
Been coming here since I was a kid.
Our go to for some serious chillaxin!!

Without knowing what to expect we went ahead and booked a campsite for 2 nights at campsite 26
Great little campsite, this site is exposed to almost full sun, so bring an easy up or extra tarp.
Campfires were allowed, major plus!
Plenty of wildlife and hiking very close.
Other campers were very friendly.
Will definitely be booking again
