I’ve been coming here (the large dog area) for a couple months now and I’ve noticed a lot of the owners aren’t watching their dogs and or are just letting there dogs be vicious to other dogs.. well today I took my dog to the dog park and I let her off the leash and I know right when a new dog comes in all the dogs have to smell the dog But there was this one pitbull who kept snapping at my dogs face My dog was minding her own business scared trying to hide between my legs, trying to get away from it. It would not leave Her alone and attacked her thankfully the bites didn’t break the skin. My dog started crying so thats when I had to step in because the owner Didn’t seem to care and was just sitting there. I had to yell at them to get their dog away from my dog, and I told them “if Their dog is not friendly do not bring him to the dog park” and she responded with “he usually is, but it happens sometimes” if you know Your dog Has attacked other dogs or has been rough with other dogs do not bring them to the dog park. I will not be coming back here again my dog has been limping since then hopefully it’s nothing major. I understand that dogs deserve the opportunity to socialize but there is a area for dogs to be in their own gated area alone. Just be mindful
