This park is great! There’s unique and fun equipment for the kiddos, accessible features, picnic tables, and bathrooms. Most importantly for hot summer days: SHADE! It’s so hard to find parks with shade and this one not only has it, but there’s places to sit in the shade. It’s great!

Nice people, beautiful trees, peaceful area despite being so close to Lee’s Summit Rd

Normally, it’s one of our favorite parks. Unfortunately, someone shattered a liter bottle of fireball all over the walking/sitting area. I picked up most of it so we can reserve this family favorite.

Little dirty from careless people but all the park equipment was in working order. They have 2 playgrounds, one at the top of the hill, geared more towards littler kids . One midway down for various ages, due to the mommy and me swing, but definitely for older kids due to type of jungle gyms and height of slide. At tge bottom of the hill lies the parking lot and grilling area. There are 2 bench swings located near the playgrounds(1 each) and various benches around the park. All in all a great park but couldnt give it 5 stars due to the trash.
