I went to the Ridgefield Bark Park both yesterday and today. Yesterday the large dogs section was temporarily closed off for repairs. Today that same section was re-opened. WOW! Amazing amount of changes made to the area! Two benches were installed, so we humans can sit comfortably while watching our dogs. The phenomenal amount of work done on the mulch was a sight to behold. As the park is on a hill, a great deal of the mulch makes its way to the bottom of the hill thus blocking a walkway. All that misplaced mulch was relocated, allowing people the use of the walkway again. Further, the mulch that had been displaced at the top of the hill was replaced and reinforced. Measures have been taken to prevent premature mulch erosion/displacement. Excellent job! Long overdue, but I commend the department for listening to the requests of the town residents!
