Lookup Park Dog Park in Henrietta, NY

Lookup Park Dog Park, located just off the I-90 in Henrietta, New York, is one of the area’s premier destinations for dog lovers seeking a secure, well-maintained, and accessible off-leash area. This completely fenced dog park offers separate, maglock-gated spaces for small and large dogs, ensuring safety and comfort for pups of all sizes. With plenty of grass, shade trees, benches, an obstacle course, and both open and shaded seating for owners, it’s thoughtfully designed with the needs of dogs and their humans in mind. The park features a creek (perfect for adventurous big dogs—though it can get muddy), ample room for play, and a hose to rinse off your furry friend after a romp in the water.

Visitors can expect top-notch amenities like public restrooms, clean waste stations stocked with poop bags, trash bins, and easy parking. Note that a membership pass is required, which you can obtain from the town hall, and all dog owners are issued a pass and dog tag for access. Friendly regulars, excellent maintenance, and wheelchair accessibility make Lookup Park Dog Park a community favorite, though bringing bug spray is advised during the warmer months. I play disc golf here.
Nice multi-use park, with small picnic area and rentable meeting room.
Bathrooms are clean.
Two secure dog parks for large and small dogs.
Driving range open in season.
Drawback is proximity to the NY Thruway.

This is one of the better dog parks in Monroe County NY. There is plenty of grass and a couple or 3 shade trees… Definitely want to wear bug spray…

*note: this is not an open park, you need to buy a pass*
So much fun for dogs and humans alike!!! Great space to run around, with trees and a creek (for the big dogs), poop bags are readily available, there is a bathroom for the humans, and a hose to wash your dog off. The creek is great, but it can also be very, VERY muddy.

Very interesting dog park just off the I90 south of Rochester. Benches, water features, even a dog obstacle course. Well fenced- first time I saw maglocks on a dog park gate. Extremely well maintained, just a little muddy this time of year. Really friendly dog owners.

You need to pay to join (town hall), they give you a pass and a dog tag. Always maintained, poop bag/ trash can posts, full fence with locking door, lots of room to run. Big dog/ small dog seperate sections, devided by a fence. Fuzzy mans’ favorite run around spot.
