Great riverside sites and shaded inside loop sites. Lots of small ants and Goatheads (burrs) in the grass tho. Wear shoes and check dog feet constantly. The bridge over the river can get noisy sometimes, especially at night. Electric and water hookup is a nice bonus for the price and there is a dumping station for RVs too. Fish are jumping this time of year (midoctober) and the deer are fun to watch.

We had spots 22, 20, 18 and our friends were in 19 and we had a blast! Right on the water more shade in 20 and 22. The park workers were absolutely wonderful. Bathrooms are more private than other camp grounds and cleaner. I definitely recommend this place! We put our boat in at another nearby ramp due to the boat ramp being closed because they are still working on the bridge and our boat was right out front our spots. We had our own little swimming area near our camps. These spots are decent. Thanks Kimball Bend we will be back again soon

We love this park and have stayed there several times. I only gave 3 stars for this stay because I had to mow the four spots for our group this stay. I’m not sure if there is some issue with the contracted grounds keepers or what, but the grass did not appear to have been cut in a while. Some of our spots had dead tree limbs hanging over the RV’s that made us worry about limbs falling on the rigs when the wind kicked up.
Love the park. I just hope they get the mowing thing and dead tree limb thing sorted out soon.

We camped overnight on interior loop. Has electrical hookup.

The only issues we faced were the grass was a little tall for the tent area and the water was high in the river. We didn’t get a good access point in the campground to fish

Restrooms were decent for campsite. The camp site ares are very large. I liked that they were not crammed next to each other. We booked last minute and there were only 2 sites left when we booked.

We camped here for the CTAR adventure race and it is such a convenient location with good access to everything you need. On site restrooms with showers were great for racers.
