Pasteles Y Mas is not a dog park, but rather a local Puerto Rican restaurant located in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. As such, it does not offer dog park amenities such as fenced areas, dog-friendly trails, or off-leash play options for your pet. If you are searching for a dog park in Ridgefield Park, you may want to explore other dedicated green spaces or pet-friendly parks in the vicinity for your four-legged companion.
While the restaurant offers Puerto Rican dishes, reviews are mixed, with some praising the flavor and others noting concerns about portion sizes and authenticity. If you’re looking for a quick meal or a new spot to try in Ridgefield Park, Pasteles Y Mas may be of interest. However, for those seeking dog-friendly features like off-leash areas, water stations, or pet amenities, this location will not meet those specific needs.
I was genuinely looking forward to enjoying a traditional Puerto Rican dish, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. I ordered the Sancocho, a dish known for being hearty and comforting, and was surprised to receive a very small portion — especially considering the NULL price tag. While the flavor was decent, the serving size was far from satisfying. Sancocho is a beloved staple often enjoyed in generous portions, and this felt more like an appetizer than a main course. For the price, I expected not only a more substantial amount, but also a more complete and satisfying dining experience. I understand that restaurants have rising costs, but the value simply wasn’t there. I hope the management reconsiders their pricing or portion sizes moving forward, as I left feeling disappointed and unlikely to return.

What a deception! Horrible food. My alcapurria de guineo was more like an ocean flavored gummy bear!!It was soooo salty and chewy.
My husband ordered the Oxtail and the server tells him in spanish, “It’s the most expensive dish we have”,(Prices not posted anywhere)… my hubby still wanted the oxtail with rice. The price NULL.00 ok…worth it IF….IFFFFFFF it was good…it was NOT!!!!
Hubby needs a double dose of blood pressure medication today! Super salty, just like the salt blocks I used to feed my hamsters!
Side note: It says Puerto Rican restaurant- only the decorations were PR! NOT authentic Puerto Rican food AT ALL!

Easy to get to right off rt46. Pleasant workers but food is pricey and the bacalaitos and alcapurrias were salty. The relleno the papa was delicious but had very little meat and NULL.00
