I had a fantastic experience with the team at Hillside Village Apartments, especially with Christopher. From the start, he was incredibly responsive, answering my questions within minutes and making me feel valued. The application process was impressively quick; Christopher guided me through every step, ensuring I had everything I needed, which led to my approval faster than I expected. His friendly yet professional demeanor really stood out, as he took the time to understand my needs and helped me find the perfect apartment. Overall, I highly recommend Hillside Village Apartments for anyone looking for a new home. Christopher and the team made my experience smooth and enjoyable!
I arrived today, Sunday, October 19, for my 2:00 PM viewing and found the management office closed. I drove from Queens, spent money on tolls and gas, and waited 45 minutes with no response. Being seven months pregnant made this even more inconvenient and disappointing. If this is how prospective tenants are treated, I can only imagine the experience of current residents.

Iris was great, extremely nice, respectful and professional.
She took us through the ins and outs as first timers, getting an apartment. Highly recommend and anyone interested do not be afraid to reach out !

This complex desperately needs a serious overhaul of its parking policy. You get one flimsy, cheaply made tag that barely stays in place — and God forbid if you accidentally forget to put it on your dashboard, they’ll tow your car in the middle of the night… from your own assigned parking space.
We pay NULL,500 a month, yet management can’t be bothered to invest in a better system or simply give the towing company a list of residents’ assigned spots. It’s 2025 — this is basic, common-sense stuff.
Because of their incompetence, we had to pay ? to retrieve our own car. Completely unacceptable. We’ve only been here two months and are already planning to leave. Overpriced, poorly managed, and absurdly punitive — this place is a perfect example of how not to run an apartment complex.

Absolutely abhorrent renting process. Forget about renting here even if you make 5 times the rent if your credit is even a point less than 690. Mind you, these are GARDEN apartments, some of which are entirely outdated. Using a co-signer to go through their arduous requests and adhere to the requirementsNULL Forget that too. They make you jump through hoops even if you clearly qualify. Iris is sweet & helpful but it isn’t in her hands. JCM living is a total joke, I’d avoid the headache if I had a re-do.
