Columbia City Dog Park is a welcoming, pet-friendly destination designed for local residents and visitors who love spending quality time outdoors with their dogs. Conveniently located at 2305 2nd St in Columbia City, Oregon, this fenced dog park offers two distinct areas: one for dogs that prefer solo play or need space away from others, and a larger section for social pups that thrive on making new furry friends. The park’s bark dust-covered areas help minimize mud, ensuring cleaner fun year-round.
Owners appreciate the park’s accessible design, including wheelchair-friendly entrances and parking. Although there is no onsite water source, visitors regularly bring their own water bowls and bottles to keep their pups hydrated. The park is praised for its spacious layout, regular maintenance, and responsible pet owners who help keep the area clean. It’s a favorite spot for those in Columbia City and the greater Oregon area seeking safe, dog-friendly recreation.
This could be 5 stars.
It would be nice if water was to be available for dogs. Bring water. The maintenance could be better if the grass was mowed more often. Other than that, the park is a really nice place to let your dog(s) play.
Great place to take your 4 legged friend. We had a great time.
Lots of room to run around and play. Bark dust area for a non-muddy area. Well maintained and not a lot of poop around. Yay to the responsible pet owners!
Update: We have taken our little girl several times to visit her friends over the past several months. Due to lots of heavy rains wasn’t able to make it weekly, however we go as often as possible. Most recent being last Sunday. I do advice to be sure to bring a water bowl and water, the babies definitely need their water while playing so vigorously with their buddies!
Original post: My pup really enjoys herself at the park and meeting up with her pup friends! We stay for about 90 minutes to 2 hours and she is tired for the next day or so!
Other half delivers for his job nearby and told me about the park. We come to Oregon every weekend from our home in Washington (by Olympia) and decided last week to see how our little girl does with other dogs and in a dog park setting. She loves it and loves visiting her friends! We have went 2 weeks in a row and plan to make it a weekly adventure for her.
Nice size dog park with 2 areas, 1 for if your dog needs to play by itself or a big section if it gets along with other dogs. Nice feature in case you have a but if an anxious dog. Wish they had some way to get water for the dogs. Other then that great park for the dogs to go play at for a bit.
