Latitude Mallard Creek Dog Park is a small, inviting dog park conveniently located within an apartment complex at 630 Minglewood Dr in Charlotte, North Carolina. This park has recently been updated with astroturf and features various training platforms and agility obstacles, making it a great place for pet owners seeking an engaging experience for their pups. While the park is on private property, it is popular among local dog lovers, especially for those with smaller breeds.
The space is securely fenced and intended primarily for smaller dogs, as its compact size may not provide enough room for larger breeds to run. Parking is available for visitors, and access is straightforward with no front entrance gate. Note that there is limited shade, so plan visits during cooler periods. With cleanliness being a community priority, this dog park is a well-kept spot for your furry friend to play and socialize in north Charlotte.

Wonderful little play area since it’s been updated recently. There’s astroturf and training platforms and obstacles. The only thing it’s missing is shade.
Please remember to leave it better than you found it and clean up after your pets.
Update: yes this is a park located in a private residence but there are frequently visitors that let their dogs play for a little while, that drive here. There is visitor parking and no front gate entrance. You simply drive in and park on either side of the park. Commonly seen are beagles, poodles, doodles, shibas and toy breeds. Please don’t bring your dog unless they’re older than 4 months and are vaccinated. For their own safety.

Clean seemingly new small dog park. But really seems to be for the apartment complex and not meant to be public. Good size park for smaller dogs. Big dogs won’t get much exercise unless you have trained them on the small obstacle course because there isn’t room to run. I highly recommended for smaller dogs. At 3:00p it was empty.
