Beautiful views. Very few hikers. Clean restrooms. We had to turn around and couldn’t finish the loop. The cows scared my partner! 🐄🚶♀️🚶♂️
Fantastic hiking area with great opportunities to watch wildlife. The cows and horses are pretty tolerant to strangers but be careful if you have dogs. Also tons of ticks; apply bug spray before starting your adventure!
Great coastal scenery, trails are mostly well maintained and the bathrooms are very clean
Amazing hike! We did a loop and walked through cow pastures, the most amazing views, and by a bit of forest. We took our reactive dog who is fearful of strangers and the paths were not super busy on Thanksgiving afternoon. Sometimes wide paths and also sometimes thinner paths but usually there is space to step to the side to let people pass. I loved seeing all the cows 🐮🥾
It’s a hike. The 4 mile loop is up about 700ft and back down. My wife and I are in our Early 40’s and average hikers who made the loop. There are multiple, I would almost say endless places to stop and take photos. The peak is at about 1.8 miles if you go east first. After the peak you enter areas of clouds around you with your final spot to take photos where you can see people from the parking lot. The spot to the west is maybe 1 mile up and a sight to see in itself but the secret is the back half of the loop. We walked past a barn with cows and horses a foot away from us with scenes as beautiful as they come.
