Nice playground! Was open to the public when we went, on a Friday around 10:30am. Its possible it’s locked some days when school is in session to reserve the playground for school kids.

Lots of mature trees for shade on a hot day, and a small splash pad. Playground section for toddlers and older kids too. People without kids also came in to just sit and have lunch, plenty of tables and benches. Everything looked well maintained!

One of my two favorite parks, up there with Thompkins. Perfect amount of shade. Great playground and splash pad for kids. Fenced in area allows you to let kids play freely without having to constantly keep tabs. Only thing the park is missing is a bathroom.

This park always seems to have its gates locked for the week I was working in the neighborhood. Is this not a public park? Or is it just for the elites who gentrified the neighborhood? Not inviting or public-friendly at all.
