Highly recommended for families and those with young children. We took a beautiful stroll and there was also a publicly accessible washroom which was appreciated. Its very quiet compared to the hustle and bustle of downtown, and we didn’t encounter any questionable characters while there.

This is one of the best spots for groups and families to get together in Central Park. It’s off the beaten path of tourists so the place isn’t overrun. It’s great because there is a lot of open space and a lot of trees to provide shade throughout the day. There is a bathroom and water fountain. If you want to use the space on a holiday or Saturday, get here early to save a space, but there is room even if you come here later.
