Located near the heart of the city, this park stands out with distinct areas for both small and large dogs, ensuring a safe environment for canines of all sizes. The facility is known for its well-maintained grounds, ample shade, and plenty of benches—making it a wonderful spot for both pets and their owners to socialize and relax.

The park is really nice with plenty of amenities and the majority of dogs are very friendly. However one dog in particular, who plays on the large dog side, who is there very often is aggressive to new dogs. This is a problem for any new comers who want a safe playful environment for their dog. Have tried to take our very friendly 10 month lab here on several occasions and he gets attacked by the same dog each time causing my dog to be very anxious. Would not recommend bringing a young dog here until they have their personalities fully developed.

There are two sides one for small dogs one for bigger dogs and they have a dog bathing area in between those two. There are benches and covered metal sitting areas as well as fire hydrants that spray water which is a lot of fun to watch the dogs play in! For new dog owners or owners that don’t have a clue, please make sure you are in control of your dog at all times… especially if you have an aggressive dog breed! If your dog gets rough with another dog you either need to leash it or leave the area.
