First time at a dog park. My puppies loved it. We will be back. I have extra small dogs and i never felt they would be safe with other dogs but they had size appropriate areas. It was great

I’m a regular at this park, and I’ve had good experiences with dog- and people-friendliness. My dog plays more at this park than he does at any other park. My dog likes to wrestle and play rough, and I appreciate that people at this park understand the difference between rough play and aggressiveness, so I don’t have to constantly redirect my dog from having fun. I do really struggle with the fact that people openly smoke cigarettes and marijuana in the park. It seems to be something that is just accepted, but second-hand smoke from cigarettes can cause cancer in dogs just like it can in people, and smoking marijuana in public is straight illegal. I find this behavior to be extremely inconsiderate, and if you have a problem with it, this is not the park for you. I do pray for the people who can’t last a 1-hour dog park visit without their drug. I hope they get some help.

This is a decent park though the parking could be greatly improved. Seems to be where people come to interact with each other and forget about their dog. Took my German Shepherd yesterday and about 8 dogs were at the gate, barking and almost preventing me from opening the gate to get in. Of course all the owners were on the benches, talking. My dog then proceeded to drop his business while another dog would not leave him alone. He then chased the dog away back towards the benches and I heard some lady cry out about him. My dog is not aggressive but the other dog would not leave him alone so he stood up for himself. Right after that, the whole group of them left, which was fine by me. People want to complain and play the victim all the time and I hope they’re there next time and try to say my dog was aggressive. I’ll put them in their place.

I was excited to find a dog park close to home until I went today. The park its self is nice and well kept but we only stayed a whole 5 min. When walking in we were greeted by probley close to 80 Ib doberman who was very friendly but then tried to mate with my 6 month old lab. The dog was relentless to the point I felt my dog and myself could be hurt. I tried to get the dog off her and his owner slowly starting coming over to assist stating he has knee problems. Why would you bring your dog to the park if you can’t mange their behavior. Im so disappointed
