Hanover Township Dog Park offers a friendly, accessible spot in Bethlehem, PA, for dogs and their owners to socialize and play. This community favorite features a fully fenced area with double-gated entry for safety and plenty of open space with mulch ground cover. The park consistently earns praise for its cleanliness, helpful amenities like dog waste bags and trash cans, and a welcoming group of regular visitors who help maintain a tidy environment. Water bowls and a water fountain are typically available, making it easy to keep pups hydrated during your visit.
This pet-friendly park is wheelchair accessible and good for children, so the whole family can enjoy some time outdoors together. There’s also a picnic area with tables for relaxing while your dog plays. While the park does not have separate areas for small and large dogs or much shade, it does offer some basic agility features like boulders and a see-saw. Whether you’re looking for a safe spot for off-leash fun or a place to meet fellow dog lovers in the Lehigh Valley, Hanover Township Dog Park is a convenient option for active pups and their people.
Awesome park. Plenty of space. Hats off to the owners that drying their pets here. Everyone does there part to keep water clean sand waste picked up. Everyone is always friendly and my doggo loves going.
I found the dog park to be a bit small. The setup is nice, they provide bags for clean up. (I still would have some on hand) just in case. There wont be shade when it is summer and hot. The people I met there, where nice, and watched their dogs.
I took our large dog here yesterday. It’s fine, nothing to write home about. There’s a few boulders, a see saw, and a water fountain that wasn’t working. Park is not big. Some old toys left there. But it was clean. There is a garbage can between the double gates and there were a ton of bees, I actually got stung while leaving. Not a big deal but it’s not the smartest place for an open top can. It was empty when we got there and then a couple with two small dogs came. It was around 1 pm on a Saturday and I thought there’d be more people there.
Nice little spot for our pup. He met lots of other fur babies and everyone got to play ball together. They had balls and water and a double gate so it’s a really nice park.
Decently sized park, could use other obstacles for dogs but for my dog who doesn’t like obstacles, its fine! The mulch is nice compared to most grass parks. Very clean and includes water fountains and waste bags.
