Maize Memorial Dog Park, llc is a popular dog park located at 3201-3311 Milligan Rd in Ontario, Ohio. This well-maintained park features two separate, fully-fenced areas: one for small breeds and older pups, and a larger one for bigger dogs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for every canine visitor. While the park is basic in its amenities, it offers a generous grassy area for dogs to play off-leash, and is situated adjacent to pet-friendly trails—perfect for anyone looking for dog-friendly hiking or additional exercise options near Mansfield.
The park is free to access, clean, and welcoming, with a few benches for seating and a water fountain available for both pets and their owners (please note that water access may be seasonal). Shade is limited, so visitors are encouraged to come early during hot days or bring their own canopy and water. Poop bags are now regularly refilled, promoting a clean experience for all. Its proximity to wooded walking paths and a disc golf course makes it a unique destination for dog lovers in Richland County.
Very standard dog park. Big grassy area for dogs to walk around but no path inside fenced area for their human counter parts. If you come early enough the trees surrounding the area give you shade.

The dig park is just a dual fenced in area for a separation of size of dogs. Nothing fancy and no shade or playground equipment. It’s adjacent to a nice wooded walking path which is a nice way to exercise the dog as well. Restrooms are quite a way off. The drinking fountain is nearby for both owners and pets.

Great fenced area. There is absolutely no shade. And no water supplied to the dog areas.
The better parks have three distinct areas, rather than two. And each section had its own water spigot. At that one the locals would buy cheap kiddie pools to get the dogs some summer time relief.
As it is now in the heat of summer it won’t be doable unless you bring your own canopy. And make sure you bring that water and water bowl.
The shade be either an awning or shade trees, water spigots, and dividing the big area so there can be three categories instead of small and not small areas. That’s what would give this 5 stars.
Best time to come here on hot or going to be hot days is early morning. Otherwise the sun and heat heat the dog too much.

Our dogs love the place! So do we, there’s a sweet set of trails and a disc golf course in the woods beside the park. Great spot!
