Very short off leash trail. Has a dog park up front. Pets allowed on paved trails but not on grass trails because of horses. Yet there are signs to share the paved trail. I should be able to take my dog on the grass trails too. Horses are very rarely at this park. The small map signs need replaced some are unreadable. Good facilities. Fieldhouse is currently being built to open fall of 2026

This park is amazing and tucked away. When you turn in the dog park is almost as nice as the park. We needed to collect our stamp for the Metro Parks Passport and it was easy to find the mailbox behind the bathrooms at this location. The out door seating areas are so nice, you feel surrounded by nature and you’re a few yards into the trail. It’s a great experience to take the kids!

My puppy was attacked by another adolescent Shepard dog named Ariel whos owner does not care and gets an attitude when asked to control his dog. He says its playing when clearly its aggression. He has two bite marks on his neck and a puncture wound on his gums by his canine. Ripping and shaking at my dogs neck is not play. Cost me NULL at my vet to have the canine wound cleaned and treated with antibiotics and pain meds.

Rocky Fork Metro Park was a great place to take a walk in nature. They have more than 3 miles of walking trails that take you through woods and fields. There is a bridle trail, dog park, an off-leash trail for dogs. I will say the off leash area was very clean. There was dog waste not picked up along the paved trails. They have doggy bags there for you to use so there’s no excuse to not pick up after your dog! They have a play area for kids and a large shelter for picnics. They have grills and plenty of tables! There are two different restrooms here as well as water fountains. They have paved trails that are wheelchair accessible.
