Bethel Dog Park, conveniently located at 30 Bethel Rd in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania, offers a welcoming and safe environment for dog owners and their pets. Recently renovated in 2024, the park now features two off-leash, securely fenced areas set apart from the former horse stables. Whether you have a large breed or a small pup (under 30 pounds), there are dedicated, size-specific zones to ensure everyone has a comfortable experience. Pet-friendly trails wind around the property, providing almost a mile of scenic walking and dog-friendly hiking opportunities.
This dog park stands out for its sociable community, well-maintained amenities, and family-friendly features. The area boasts tall fences, double gates for extra safety, benches for owners, and complimentary poop bags. While the shade is limited and there’s no running water, its open views and calm atmosphere—especially on weekdays—make it a relaxing choice for both pets and owners. Bethel Dog Park is truly a gem for those seeking a friendly dog park in Glen Mills to meet fellow dog lovers and let their furry friends play safely.
The gentleman that owns the goats is so nice as well as the lady with the horses! Every time I take my dog there people are very sociable! And they even provide poop bags so you can pick your dog’s poop up because it’s a law in Pennsylvania!
Yesterday afternoon I took my dog to this beautiful park. We’ve had the pleasure of finding this place recently and have been about three or four times. She suddenly passed away last night. May angels rest her beautiful soul. This place is one of the last memories I have with her. Each time has been a pleasurable experience. Filled with joy, many fury friends, beautiful animals, friendly people, and a lovely open view. This place will always have a place in my heart. I’d recommend it for anyone that wants to bring their four legged companion to meet other friendly doggies. The area is nice and although it isn’t the biggest park it certainly isn’t small. There is maybe close to a mile of space following the path all the way around. I’m grateful I’ve gotten the chance to share this place with my loving doggy, Mimi. I hope others get the chance to do so too. Give it a try it’s lovely and also pretty calm on the week days Mon-thurs.
newly “renovated” in 2024 to move both off-leash areas away from the old horse stables. good, tall, secure fence and double gate. they installed a few park benches for pet parents to sit. the surrounding land is also nice walking loop.
Nice place to go for your dog to simply run free in a safe, fenced area. I haven’t figured out when other dogs may be there, so be prepared to entertain your dog yourself rather than letting them play with another dog.
UPDATE: the dog park has been completely redone. It is now up to the parking lot and the gates open on the parking lot side. The fences are higher and the two sides are now different sizes — a very large, L-shaped area and a smaller square area. The smaller area is posted for dogs under 30#.
A great place for pitbulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. If your dog likes to wrestle or play tug of war, this is a great park for them. Not recommended for owners who are not comfortable with those types of play.
However, be aware that there’s no running water and very limited shade. I also wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who is uncomfortable with the breeds I mentioned above, or larger dogs. The ratio is probably 10:1 for large dogs to small dogs.
