Beaver Dam City Park is a beloved local destination for families and pet owners located in the heart of Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Surrounded by spacious fields and scenic views, this park offers pet-friendly trails and wide open spaces ideal for dog walking and exercise. Thanks to its family-focused amenities, such as playgrounds and ball fields, it is the perfect spot for an enjoyable afternoon outdoors with your pup.
While the park welcomes leashed dogs and has lots of open areas for walking, visitors should note that fenced-in dog runs or designated off-leash areas do not appear to be available at this time. The park boasts other amenities such as an amphitheater for community events, as well as picnic areas, making it a great gathering place for locals. However, shade may be limited and additional pavilions would improve comfort on hot days. If you’re searching for a dog-friendly park in Beaver Dam, this spot is worth a visit for some fresh air, exercise, and scenic Kentucky sunsets with your canine companion.
It was our first time there and it was a nice park wish it had more trees for shade

First time visiting, seems like a nice little park. Tried fishing for less than an hour. Seen 2 Gar swimming around, caught a little Crappie and had a couple other swipes from small fish. Fishing doesn’t seem great atm, might try again in the future.
