The Witt’s End/Half Witt loop is perfect for an afternoon walk, just minutes from downtown Norway on Pleasant Street. Mild November weather urged us to walk this loop forthe first time. Large areas of cedar trees and two boardwalks were the highlights. Small rises, along with trail twists and turns, also kept it interesting. Looking forward to coming again next year to look for any wetland spring ephemerals!

This is a beautiful hike in the woods. Not very difficult. Some of the signage could be improved. We made one mistake and had to backtrack in order to get back to the pleasant Street entrance. Google maps did not show the half-witt trail which was the solution for us. We found it anyway!
There are no restrooms or picnic areas. The trails are definitely dog friendly.
