Prophecy Creek Park is a beautiful and accessible park located in Ambler, PA, featuring ample parking, wheelchair-accessible entrances and facilities. The park offers a variety of unpaved trails perfect for hiking and dog walking, with scenic views including a large pond, a gazebo, and old buildings adding charm to the natural setting. It is kid-friendly and allows dogs, making it a great spot for family outings. While the park includes outdoor seating areas and water fountains, it is not specifically detailed to have fenced dog areas or agility equipment. The location also hosts events and provides a peaceful environment for visitors.
This park is located on Skippack Pike (Rt.73) in the Ambler-Blue Bell area of Montgomery County. Located on the park grounds is the Manor House which can be reserved for catered affairs. Their is a large parking lot with plenty of spaces. It is beautifully landscaped with a large pond with a bridge crossing and gazebo. Would be an awesome place for a photograph session (engagement wedding graduation etc.). It also has a large patio area for outdoor seating which fits into the scenery. You can also access a walking trail by crossing the bridge. Behind the house and parking lot their are more walking trails for some brisk exercise or a dog walk.
Was fortunate enough to spend the day here for an old high-school pal’s wedding. The venue is gorgeous and accommodates a fairly large amount of guests, as well as providing both indoor and outdoor spaces depending on the needs of the party and weather conditions. The ceremony went off without a hitch and even though it down-poorerd at one point everything was fine because we could wait it out and keep the party going inside. Would highly recommend to any couple with the means to rent the space out.
Beautiful park awesome event night time hayride
It was my 1st time going here I really enjoyed it it was beautiful. Plenty and plenty a trails to walk, also seen people riding horseback through the trails. they had a couple fountains inside a Lake. It was peaceful and all kinds of old cool buildings
Entered this park one nice fall evening, the drive up was to the parking lot. At first glance not much. Parents arrive with their children and disappeared behind the treeline where a very large soccer field was located.
The other side of the lot is a building nicely landscaped with “Guest Entrance” to The Manor House. Best I could tell is for special events at a price.
Quite a few signs at the front of the lot about dog etiquette. The trails were not easy to find. Just follow the road to the right and across the small bridge are the unpaved trails. The creek was not impressive. But watching the sunset through the treeline was.
