Fabon Brown Park is a small but convenient dog park located in Tyrone, Georgia, perfect for local pet owners seeking a quick outdoor escape for their canine companions. This fenced dog park, though modest at approximately 40’x40′, provides a safe, off-leash environment where dogs can play and socialize. With agility equipment and a few benches, it’s an ideal spot for dogs to challenge themselves and for owners to relax while their pets burn off energy.
Although the park does not feature water fountains or separate areas for small and large dogs, it does offer waste bags, a children’s play area nearby, and mowed grass for comfort. The park is known as a ‘hidden gem’ among locals and is best suited for brief visits due to its size and basic amenities. While parking is limited, those living nearby in Tyrone will find it accessible for an impromptu outing year-round.
If you look up “bare minimum” in the dictionary, there’s a picture of this dog park. One review says the park is 40’x40′. I think that’s generous. There are some activities for the dogs, but it’s a very tiny space. There doesn’t appear to be much parking either (not that you’d need it, since you can’t get more that a few dogs in there at a time). I can’t believe that this is the only dog park in town, even if the town is small. I’m puzzled why a dog area wasn’t added to Handley Park. There’s plenty of space for one.

A great little dog park with a children’s play area. Only didn’t get 5 stars because some of the benches have been smashed and the wood was still laying around so I assume it was recent. The grass is cut and there are bags for your pup poop. It’s a hidden gem.

Nothing to write home about. It’s a 40’×40′ pen with a few benches & a few novelties & obstacles. No water station. I guess Tyrone said it’s better than nothing.
