If you’re looking for a quiet and spacious dog park in Hastings, Michigan, Barry County Veterans Memorial Dog Park is a favorite among local dog owners. This well-maintained park offers a peaceful atmosphere, making it a great spot for dogs who love to run and play off-leash. With multiple fenced-in areas—including a dedicated small dog section and two large dog sections—your pet can socialize safely with others of similar size or enjoy the freedom of a larger space. The park is always mowed and kept clean, helping you and your pet enjoy the outdoors comfortably.
Dog-friendly features at this park include secure fencing, clearly separated areas for small and large breeds, and a serene environment with plenty of room for exercise. Although water sources may be available, visitors have noted they can be hard to find. While there is no restroom for humans at the location, the peaceful and uncrowded setting more than makes up for it, making this dog park a hidden gem in Barry County for pet-friendly outings and canine exercise sessions.

Good pens for dogs to run. Could use a restroom for the humans.

Really nice spot to let the dogs run and play. Had a dual fenced area so if there is a need to separate dogs, you can. I appreciate the sign on the road because it’s a little hard to see just driving by.
Great desolate park for my dog to run around nobody was there which I typically appreciate and lots of fenced in areas even if there were other dogs will be using this dog park often
