Griffith Park, located at 4731 SW Griffith Dr, Beaverton, is a spacious, grassy field known for its open lawn and seasonal character. While not a traditional dog park with designated off-leash areas or fenced enclosures, it attracts local dog owners seeking a wide, open space for walks or play when the weather permits. Please note that during heavy rains, the park is prone to flooding and can temporarily become a pond, so plan visits in dry conditions for the best experience.
Although the park is more of a multi-use field than a fully equipped dog park, it offers green space perfect for walking your dog or letting them enjoy a sniff around. Be aware of possible holes or uneven terrain in some seasons, and consider other local parks if you’re seeking fenced areas, agility equipment, or extensive pet amenities. Griffith Park is best enjoyed for its simple, open atmosphere and convenient, accessible location in the heart of Beaverton.

I really only like this park for catching pokemon on pokemon go. Otherwise is bland and kinda boring and in a really weird spot in town. Its not near anything cool like a coffee shop or library

No concerts at the bandstand and when the park is not a swampy lake the field has holes where people are straining and breaking their ankles and feet. bEWARE!
Pick another park with an unholy field.

More of a field/flood overflow basin than a park. It’s got green grass, sometimes.
So, back when Beaverton City Hall was located right next to this, this is where they’d host the yearly “Taste of Beaverton” event (basically a city fair).
