Easy flat trails. Clean available bathrooms. Only con is in the horse trails there are large amounts of horse manure. If you go here on foot with children avoid the horse trail head.

Great park, stream runs next to the horse trail that my dog loves to run in. Great for small and long walks. My boyfriend loves to run here too. Huge beautiful grass fields.

Loved walking the trails at Loantaka Brook Reservation this Spring. We went on a Saturday afternoon and there was plenty of parking, handicap as well. The grounds, restrooms, playgrounds and trails were all well maintained. The trails were wide and offered both paved and unpaved and they had occasional benches along the way. The paved trail was mostly flat and wheelchair friendly. Everyone we encountered on the trails … on foot, cycle, horseback were all courteous of others. I especially liked that the wooded areas were somewhat cleared which allowed for beautiful views of nature and wildlife, as opposed to some other parks where the trails are narrow and densely covered feeling as though there’s nothing to see. Along the trails we passed a pond, bridges, streams and babbling brooks.
