If you’re searching for a dog park in Reedsport, Oregon, Champion Dog Park is a convenient, pet-friendly stop right off Highway 101. Frequented by locals and travelers, this dog park features a large open lawn (as big as a football field), along with a smaller, fully-fenced area and a paved track that circles the park, making it perfect for walking or jogging alongside your four-legged friend. The park offers plenty of space for dogs to play off-leash, socialize, and explore.
Dog owners love the friendly community atmosphere at Champion Dog Park, the easy access, and practical amenities including restrooms (open dawn to dusk), fresh water for dogs, and natural shade provided by trees along the fringes. While the fenced area is relatively small and may need maintenance, the open spaces and paved paths offer ample room for exercise. It’s a great destination for pet-friendly trails, off-leash fun, and a quick outdoor break when traveling through coastal Oregon.
Fenced in area is very small, filled with potholes, and the fence itself is in disrepair. I would not be surprised if parts of the fence fall down soon, unleashing (pun not intended) any dogs within. Also, there is only a single gate as opposed to a double gate, so people coming in may release escape artist dogs unwittingly.

At our stop we were only ones there in the pin. Others were out walking and letting their dogs free range but ours just didnt know the area so we felt good about this one.
