Nestled along Coburg Road just outside Eugene, Oregon, Armitage Dog Park offers a spacious, well-maintained environment for dogs and their people. This Lane County facility features separate fenced areas for small and large dogs, giving pups plenty of room for safe, off-leash play. Large, mature trees throughout the park provide welcome shade on sunny days, while the ground is usually covered in bark or grass to help minimize mud—though after heavy rains, you may want to bring a towel!
Armitage Dog Park is known for its friendly community, with owners and dogs alike enjoying the relaxed, social atmosphere. Amenities include benches and picnic tables for owners, waste stations supplied with doggy bags, and several trash bins to keep the park clean. For those seeking more adventure, adjacent river trails offer extra options for pet-friendly walks and dog-friendly hiking. The park is part of a larger county park that includes RV camping, picnic areas, and a boat launch, making it a fantastic spot for families to spend the day outdoors with their pets.
