It was turtle day. It was a wonderful experience with my son, daughter her husband and my grandson. There were exhibits plus being able to see the other animals. The people were all very nice and everyone had a lot of manners and care for each other. Afterwards we walk down by the river and it’s a wonderful experience.

Absolutely loved this place for the kids and even myself ! So many animals, some have passed.but others do remain as they have 1 wolf now. But it’s still worth exploring, bring some coal for grills, or bring a boat (they have ramps) even fishing, a trail that is easy and stroller accessible. A small park nothing fancy! But still super cute. They are redoing the bunny house so Definitely have to make another visit. Reptile house is so cool too.
It’s all free but donations are appreciated in the reptile house. Even book events !

A well ❤️‍🩹 managed park with quite a lot of animals to watch, such as wolf, fox, donkeys, birds and fish, etc. It sits next to the Schuylkill River. A good place to take small kids for a stroll.

I frequent this park for use of the trail, the sights and the animal conservatory. The trail is great with great views, some shady spots but also some spots that you can feel a bit toasty on warmer days. I love the views more in the fall but I overall can appreciate it year round. It’s nice to share the trail with couples, families, pets, wildlife etc.
