Ive boarded my dog, Bishop here several times and generally the staff is pretty friendly. ESPECIALLY the lady that does the grooming! However whoever the lady is that worked the morning of 09/15/25 was definitely not the most professional I’ve seen. 😅 Right off the bat shes very short with me while I’m paying for the boarding, then as she walks to the back to retrieve my dog I follow behind. As I’ve done many times, every other time I’ve boarded Bishop I was allowed and encouraged to go back with them to pick him up. However once she reached the door of the room my dog was in she snaps her head around to me and sharply asks “What are you doing??” And I (confused) ask “am I not allowed to come back here?” To which she replies “No?! This is for the staff. I mean you can see him, but you can’t go in” Which I thought was strange since I wasn’t even trying to enter the room. Every other staff member has not only let me walk back with them but acted as if they had nothing to hide. She opens the door and leashes my dog, grabs his lunch box, and almost forgets his frog toy in the room. I say thank you as she hands the leash to me and she continues “You can’t come back here, next time you need to just sit in the lobby”. I understand if that’s an actual policy, and I have no problem with it! But this lady was very snappy and rude with me, and I didnt see a single polite mannerism. (Smiling, friendly tone, etc) I get it if you’re having a bad day, but I’ve worked enough jobs to know you need to leave that at home. Or you’ll just ruin everyone else’s experience. I couldn’t imagine if this is how I was treated the last time I boarded here, since I was going through major life changes and being greeting with this as I’m picking up my dog wouldve made me cry for sure LOL! Great experience with everyone else but her though! 😅
