Located in the scenic heart of Nashville, Edwin Warner Dog Park offers a spacious and welcoming environment for dogs and their owners. This large, open dog park in Nashville is known for its ample space, making it perfect for energetic pups who love to run, play, and socialize. Although grass coverage can be sparse at times, the wide field gives plenty of room for dogs of all sizes. Benches are scattered throughout for dog parents to relax, and a covered shelter provides a bit of shade during warm days.
Edwin Warner Dog Park features a fenced-in area with double gates for added security. Visitors should be aware that there is not a separate enclosure for small dogs, but most local pet owners report positive experiences regardless. Amenities include a water fountain for thirsty pups (though it can get muddy around the base) and regularly stocked waste bag stations. Located off Vaughn Rd in the Bellevue area, this park is a favorite among locals seeking pet-friendly spaces in Nashville.
Anytime my dog and I come to this park, we have a lovely time. You can sit on one of there several benches or chat with another dog parent. I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the dogs and people here. 4stars because parts of it are very dusty/muddy where grass isn’t growing. Great park!

Plenty of room for dogs to play and run. This park doesn’t have a separate area for smaller dogs, but that doesn’t seem to cause any problems.
There’s one shelter that provides shade and several benches scattered around the park. I do recommend that you take your own water. There is a fountain but the ground around it gets muddy at times.
Four stars instead of five due to a lack of grass some of the time, but it’s probably tough to maintain with all the foot (and paw) traffic.
