Hopkinton Dog Park is a brand-new, fenced dog park conveniently located at 24 Pratt Way in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. This park stands out for its accessibility, with wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, making it welcoming for all members of the community. The spacious setting is nestled in a safe, secluded, and woodsy area that dead-ends at local soccer fields, providing a tranquil spot for dogs and owners alike.
The park features separate areas for both small and large dogs, ensuring a safe experience for pups of all sizes. While the ground is covered in pea gravel and paved asphalt walkways, which are great for most dogs to run around, owners should take note that there is very limited shade. There are benches for relaxing, and the park is kept very clean by regular visitors. Although there are plans for a gazebo and water fountain, the current setup mostly offers basic amenities, and visitors should bring water for their pets. Hopkinton Dog Park is an excellent option for anyone looking for pet-friendly trails and a dedicated dog play area in the Hopkinton, MA region.
Excellent place for all size dogs.
Tiny little park, but good enough for pups to get some running in.
Limited shade, ground cover is pea stone.
Water bubbler for the pups.
This dog park is the best in the area by far! I love having the smaller section to keep my old dog separate where he can sniff without being near the more energetic dogs. It’s always so clean and the other people who frequent it are so friendly!
Brand new dog park, they haven’t finished it yet, there is going to be a gazebo and water for dogs. They have a little dog and big dog area. Big dog area is huge! The entire area is small pea gravel asphalt walking paths. Just an FYI – if your dog is not a fan of running on the gravel, they will tend to run on the asphalt paths, resulting in cut paws. Just be mindful.
PRO: Benches; play features; asphalt walk ways; nice safe secluded woodsy location that dead ends at a soccer fields.
CONS: Zero shade (they bulldozed all of the trees, well past the fence line, to ensure there will never be any shade, ever). No water. No grass. EXTREMELY dusty from the unwashed peagravel.
