Clean park, away from busy roads! Located in a development with gravel parking. Adaptable equipment such as ramps and swings with harnesses. The red spinning post was my son’s favorite thing. He enjoyed the big and little play areas. It was a fun new park for us and we plan to revisit soon!
Nice little park on the western side of route 11 in Chambersburg- urban park set within major development areas of townhomes and planned developments-small pavilion with picnic tables, young childrens playground, very young sized soccer field, basketball courts-paved walking trails, small designated parking lot. No portapottys note
Very nice park located in a very nice community. The park has multiple things to do, including a basketball court, two parks, swings, and more. There was a good amount of parking at the park. There is also a small Pavillion to have a picnic. Dependending on when you go, it may be very busy.
This playground is great, and the path is perfect for having a visual of kids riding bikes all the way around solo. HOWEVER the biggest flaw is no bathroom, not even a porta potty. I was left in an impossible position with my son. Apologies to any residents who witnessed. It’s not necessary if this is meant to be for residents only, however it is advertised as a public park, so it needs to support non resident visitors.
I thought this was a really nice park. Although I haven’t found many of them in the area yet to be able to compare it to. But it appeared to be in clean, quiet, and safe environment We just did not stay long because this particular day there weren’t any other kids out there playing so my son and I went somewhere else.
