I enjoy going to this little hiking area. The only negative would be there’s only room for three cars but sometimes two if people don’t park all the way on the edges and sometimes people will try to fit a 4th behind where the other cars have to back up which is a pain, but it’s a nice area.

Beautiful short walk straight to the pond. View is gorgeous. Water is crystal clear and warm in summer. A pond is defined as a body of water that sunlight can reach to the bottom throughout the entirety of the body of water. A lake is defined as a body of water that bas unreachable spots by sunlight. So it has nothing to do with the size or depth. I learned that only a few years ago and love sharing that info!

Lovely walk through the forest to the lake. Spent a few hours swimming and sunning on the wide flat rocks. Paradise.

0.3 mile walk to the water if you go straight to the lookout which is what I did. At the lookout there’s some nice long flat rocks to sit on and a great easy way into clean clear water for swimming. It was beautiful!
