Located along the scenic riverfront, Shreveport Dog Park offers dog owners and their pups a spacious, welcoming destination to play and socialize. One of the largest dog parks in the area, this pet-friendly park features a fully fenced area with double-gated entry, plenty of open space for running and fetch, and even a pond where dogs can swim. The park also connects to easy hiking and walking trails, making it a favorite spot for dog-friendly hikes in Shreveport.
Amenities include wheelchair-accessible entrances and parking, picnic tables, seating, and public restrooms. The park is known for its well-kept grounds, hills for your pup to climb, and a convenient hose for dog washing after play. Families will appreciate its kid-friendly environment and the large open layout, perfect for an active day out with pets and children alike.
This is a great place to take your dogs, completely fenced in with double gates so our friends can’t run off.
Doggie Dunkin pool onsite, just let them run and be free!
Beautiful scenery alongside the river. Walk there at least 3 days a week. Would give 5 stars but a part of the walkway has been broken and closed off for over 2 years
Great dog park! A little flooded due to recent rains but the dogs still loved it. Lots of room for them to run around. Probably the biggest dog park I’ve been to.
Wonderful park for our canine friends! Pond for swimming, hills to climb, large area for throw and catch! A 1/4 mile walking track for us exercising humans. Let your dog of the leash to run and play with the other friendly pooches. The park is well maintained with easy access and parking.
Recently moved back and started taking my dog to this wonderfully manicured dog park. It’s lovely. There is a hose on the way to the entrance to wash your pup. Bring your own shampoo.
Your dog can run without a leash and make new friends. Owners shoot the moon about their pets habits. Unfortunately, the park is sometimes flooded for a month after a hard rain. Still the best public park for dogs 💜
