Very beautiful view
I have been going to that park for years I used to take my kids in strollers and walk my dogs and now my children are older so now I continue to walk my dogs. It’s a great place to go. That’s a great place to take your dogs for a long ….walk there isn’t many places that you can go around here …..
I went there today, which isLabor Day weekend to take my dog for a walk and there was a few parties there… which that’s great but there was also dogs that were not on leashes so I couldn’t take my dog for a walk. That really is not fair .. it says all over, please keep your dog on a leash… now I understand that peoples dogs stay with them and A couple ofmy dogs would stay with me as well, but if someone dog came running at my puppy, that would be another story. I have a puppy now that has anxiety issues that I’m trying to socialize her more. So I walk her in the park, but I stay away from people. If a dog came running at us that would propose a problem. People need to keep your dogs on leashes like it says all over the park. I would absolutely hate to have it ban in that park after all these years because it really is a nice place to take your dogs.

I just love this park. I have so many memories as a kid going there. Now I take my daughter there. So many little hidden nooks and crannies to the park. Beautiful trails. And a nice gentleman went and redid. Every stone BBQ place from scratch. Such amazing craftsmanship. And the park offers different shows during the summer. Something for everyone.
Big park with lots of amenities. Kayak and canoe launch. Kayak rentals and picnic grills. A swimming area with lifeguards is also available.
